Robbery
Police Officers investigating a robbery on
Sunday the 18th January 2009, have appealed for
help. Anyone with information can contact them

The robbery took place between 1630 and 1700 GMT
on Sunday at the Connswater Shopping Complex in
East Belfast. The robbers, two men entered the
store via the delivery entrance and loaded the
stock into a white van, before forcing a member
of staff to accompany them as they made off.
After driving to Mersey Street, the robbers
transferred to a grey van and set the white van
on fire. The member of staff was assaulted, tied
up and left nearby.
Up to £40,000 of stock was stolen during the
robbery, it included, 20 laptops & mini
laptops, 315 mobile phones, 17 games consoles
and cash.
Police are awaiting your help to solve this
crime.
