Belfast News: 900 More Unemployed

Northern Ireland continues to suffer the effects from the economic downturn, with latest unemployment figures from the Department of Enterprise, showing a further 900 people claiming unemployment benefits in August.

The figures show that total number of unemployed persons claiming benefits stand at 57,800. However when other factors are included, unemployed persons in Northern Ireland are many more.
