NI News: The
Worst of Mankind Just when you
thought you'd seen and heard the worst that mankind can do,
someone tops even that, by reaching even deeper depths, preying on
the goodness of others. It was U105's
Frank Mitchell that highlighted the issue of criminal gangs
operating in the Republic of Ireland. In scenario one, a child's
car seat is made up to look like a child has been abandoned at the
roadside, usually bordering a wooded area. Human nature and psychology
is played on, for who would drive past an abandoned baby on a
roadside and that what's they plan on. For the occupants of any
stopping car are about to walk into an ambush, once outside the
car and within sight of the criminals, you are jumped and robbed
of your car. The tragedy of this behaviour is that it is one more
reason for people not to reach out and help one another, with
police advice in the Republic, to drive past any sighting and call
them, you can't help to think what's happens if you actually drive
past genuine people in need. In the
second criminal scenario, that criminals pelt your car with eggs
having analyzed, that a natural human reaction is to apply your
windscreen wash and wipers. Unwitting drivers are unaware that the
eggs have an added ingredient which when smeared across the
windscreen leaves the driver no option but to stop their vehicle,
unable to see, walking straight into the game plan of waiting
criminals. It may be that such
criminal behaviour may be replicated across Northern Ireland, so
everyone needs to be aware. Such criminal behaviour, reaches a new
criminal low, preying on those trying to help, trying to do a good
thing and do the right thing, as they should. So if you know who
these people are, its time to take your stand against this way of
life, provide the police with the information needed to stop them,
before someone is killed or before it becomes the norm, were we
naturally pass by people in need.
