It was only the start of 2009 that the Bennett and Lisk brand was born, when two property professionals joined forces and moved their operation to Ballyhackamore, yet already they are expanding.

Bennett and Lisk first office opened in January in the former estate agency offices of BTW Cairns (formerly BTW Shiells) on the Upper Newtownards Road at Ballyhackamore and are now proud to announce an expansion of services, through their acquisition  of Dundonald Estate Agents 'Moving'. In a statement on their website, the company state:

'we are pleased to announce that we have acquired "Moving" in Dundonald. We believe this new office will enhance Bennett and Lisk and will benefit all of our clients. Bennett and Lisk is now ideally placed to market property, on behalf of our clients, throughout the entire region of East Belfast.'

Does this signal a confidence by the company of better times ahead for the housing market or is it another case of rationalization between estate agents, battening down the hatches in time of recession?
