The new year has barely begun and already there is optimism
in the air, as Ballyhackamore sees a rare sight these days, an
estate agents opening up.
2008 saw estate agents baton down the hatches, Open estate agents
closed on the Beersbridge Road, Space Real Estate moved their
Belmont showroom and Remax was reported to have closed ten offices
across the province.

So an estate agency opening its doors is a refreshing site.
Bennett & Lisk opened its first office in the former
showroom of BTW Cairns showroom on the Upper Newtownards Road at
Ballyhackamore. The new agency will be run by two local property
experts, Karl Bennett, formerly of MCW Residential, now Philip
Johnston & Co estate agents and David Lisk previously of
McQuitty Lisk. McQuitty Lisk's office on the Lisburn Road and
Bennett Estate Agents on Connsbrook Avenue will now close.
Even in these very tough trading conditions, this new agency is a
breathe of fresh air and ballyhack.co.uk wish them well in the heart
of Ballyhackamore.
